South Jordan Middle School is located in South Jordan, UT. This week is "Red Ribbon Week". "Red Ribbon Week" is a week devoted to be drug free. SJMS has had 100% of its students sign the pledge to be drug free for 2 years in a row, and this will be the third.

SJMS has a lot of diversity. The students ethnic backround goes from hispanic to oreintal. We even have a class for mentally challenged students. Everyone is very nice to these special people. Some of these handicapped kids go to regular classes, and they try their best. Even in gym, the participate.

SJMS staff is the best staff in the Jordan District. The teachers always make sure the students are getting the most out of the classes they teach. The principal, and assistant principals love the kids, even when they have to send the to in school suspension.

SJMS doesn't have much extra-curicular activities. Basketball, and Stage Crew are all that I can think of. They have a girls basketball team, which always seems to do good, because Cramer is the coach. And a boys basketball team, which isn't as good as the girls. Stage Crew, which is taught by Mr. Howell and Mrs. Dutcher, is pretty cool. I love being on it! All the students that participate with it, have a blast every week!
